Who
are Members of CSI?
Members of CSI include architects, engineers, interior designers,
contractors, material suppliers, and others involved in the construction
industry such as students, attorneys, insurance agents and building
owners. Most members belong to a local chapter that is situated
convenient to the member’s home or place of work.
Professional Membership is awarded to those involved with design;
Industry Membership is awarded to contractors and material suppliers,
distributors and manufacturers; Associate Membership is awarded
to others involved in the construction industry such as support
staff; and Intermediate Membership is awarded to those who have
less than two years in any field that qualifies as Professional,
Industry or Associate membership. Students enrolled in a construction
related curriculum qualify for the Student rate. Membership is awarded
to individuals only. Membership for organizations or firms is not
available.
The dues for membership vary with the chapters. The Nashville
Chapter CSI has the following dues structure:
Institute Dues Professional/ Industry/ Associate Members $210
Intermediate Members $95
Student Members $26
Nashville Chapter Dues $130*
* Chapter dues include cost of meal at all nine regular chapter
meetings
All Institute and Chapter dues are paid directly to the Institute.
