PARSHALL’S POST

A big “Thanks” to Eric Lundquist and Mike Leonard for providing us a great Membership Drive lunch and program. The final count of attendees was over 100 with 7 new members signing up at the meeting. Thanks again to Jerry Curtis for the fine lunch. Way to go guys.

The weekend of May 2nd and 3rd, Jerry Curtis, Kent Kile, Mark Schwartz, Kevin Corkern, Richard Cooper and I attended the Gulf States Region Conference in Pensacola. We also attended their Product Show on Thursday and found it to be very comparable to ours. Speaking about the Product Show, don’t forget that we are having ours on September 11th and you still have time to pick up the phone and call Kevin Corkern, our chairman, at “517-5184” and ask him, “What can I do to help”?

Our next meeting will be a dinner meeting on June 10th at the ABC Hall. This will be our annual “Awards Banquet” I hope you will all be there. Also, just a note to let you know that I have received notice from the Institute that I will be receiving Nashville’s 50th Anniversary Commemorative Plaque at the meeting in Las Vegas. You will get to see it at the Awards Banquet.

I want to thank all of the Board of Directors and Committee Chairs that attended the Board Meeting last month, to those members who attended the membership lunch meeting, and especially those of you that brought guests.
In looking at the calendar I find that it’s time for that last “Hooray”, meaning this is the last “Parshall”s” Post” that you will be receiving from me as your President.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish Tiffany and her new Board that they have a “Great Year”, and also with “Great Appreciation” I want to thank each Board member, committee chair and each member that took the time from your work and especially time from your family to help me and the Chapter to have a great year.

I hope you all remember that “service to humanity, is the best work in life.”
